The BEST way to find out, is to listen to "We Are" from The Roches, or to "The Death of Suzzy Roche" from Nurds. (Ya really owe it to yaself...), wherein all three are pronounced, and then Suzzy is pronounced repeatedly.
Not only am I a MONSTROUS fan, I have "infected" my entire family - wife and three daughters, so far. (We're working on the fourth daughter now, but she's only five, and from China to boot; so it may take a little longer...)
