Yes, I think we're having the same problem. My take on the lyric is:
You buy me ( ? ? ?)
You walk me home
You practically adore me
You write me love poems
You never look me in the eye
You look at your shoes
You get so over-excited
You might blow a fuse
Because it's about an infatuation, I assumed it was "You buy me . . . " in the first line. But you're right, it ends with a trips-sounding word.
CAN ANYONE help us out here??
